Karin Gubalova

Karin Gubalova currently serves as the Global Competence Centre Lead at Kooperativa, where responsibilities include establishing a Global Competence Centre focused on risk management and business continuity management processes, as well as supporting the GRC tool for the VIG group. Previously, Karin held the position of Head of Risk & Compliance at AEC, overseeing a team of security consultants and managing various operational activities. Additional experience includes roles such as Cyber Security Manager at innogy Česká republika, Manager for Cyber Security Services at PwC Czech Republic, and Chief Information Security Officer at Komerční banka, with a strong focus on information security governance and management throughout a career that began in 1996. Karin's educational background includes a degree in Information Technology from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave.
