Matt denHartog is an experienced project manager and mechanical engineering leader with a strong track record in the automation and machinery sectors. Currently serving as Project Manager at Koops Automation Systems since July 2016, Matt oversees custom automation projects from award to completion, while also fostering customer relationships. Previously, Matt held the position of Mechanical Engineering Lead, collaborating with a talented team to design top-notch custom machines. Matt's career began at Extol, Inc., where roles included Team Lead Machine Design Engineer and Engineer, focusing on custom machinery development and mentoring younger engineers. Additionally, Matt gained early experience as an Engineering Intern at Innotec, contributing to machinery design and upgrades. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University.
