Alida Lorenz

Alida Lorenz, RN, MSN, NEA-BC has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Alida is currently the Executive Director of Nursing Patient Care Services at Kootenai Health, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Patient Care Services at the same organization from April 2022 to December 2022.

Before joining Kootenai Health, Alida worked at Adventist Health, where they held multiple roles. Alida started as the Manager of Acute Care Services & Education from July 2018 to January 2019, followed by the Director of RN & Professional Development from January 2019 to May 2020. Alida then became the Director of Nursing Services from May 2020 to April 2021, overseeing various departments and ensuring compliance with regulations. Lastly, they served as the Administrative Director of Nursing Services from April 2021 to April 2022, responsible for the overall clinical operations of the hospital.

Prior to their tenure at Adventist Health, Alida worked at Dignity Health as the Neuroscience Program Manager from August 2016 to July 2018, where they were responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of neuroscience care. Alida also served as the Administrative Nursing House Supervisor from December 2015 to August 2016, overseeing operations in the absence of executive and management staff.

Alida's earlier experience includes working at El Camino Hospital as the RN Stroke Program Coordinator from September 2012 to November 2015, where they played a vital role in developing a TJC Certified Primary Stroke program. Alida also served as a Clinical RN Charge from June 2009 to September 2012.

Their career in healthcare began with Tenet Healthcare, where they worked as a Clinical RN from February 2008 to April 2009, providing patient care in various units.

Alida Lorenz, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, completed their education at the University of Phoenix, where they obtained a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Informatics in 2012. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing from San Jose State University in 2007. Alida also holds a BSN from the same institution. Alida has obtained multiple certifications, including Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2022 and Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) from the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses in 2017. Alida is a registered nurse in the states of Idaho and California.
