Melisa Carper Bell is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in healthcare, community service, and political management. As the Founder and Board Member of the Carper Community Foundation since 2004, Melisa established the organization in memory of Katherine M. Carper, focusing on breast cancer awareness and support. Currently, Melisa holds the position of Graduate Medical Education & Family Medicine Residency Manager at Kootenai Health and previously served as Program Coordinator. Melisa's early career includes roles such as Deputy Director Targeting and Targeting Analyst at NCEC Services, Inc., and as the North Idaho Event Coordinator for Susan G. Komen Idaho. Additional experience includes a marketing analysis role at Coldwater Creek and an internship with Senator Edward M. Kennedy's Health Committee. Melisa earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Journalism Mass Communication from the University of Idaho and a Certificate in Campaign and Political Management from The George Washington University.
