Tommaso Grotto has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2007, they worked as a Freelance User Experience Designer and Front-end Developer at KsyTech, where they developed skills in project management, user experience design, and front-end development. In 2008, they co-founded MercatinoLibri.it, a successful online marketplace for used textbooks. In 2011, Tommaso worked as a Freelance Quantitative Developer at NeuroTrading, collaborating on the design and development of algorithmic trading strategies. Tommaso also spoke at conferences on related topics. In 2014, they co-founded and became the CEO of Kopjra, a cyber intelligence company specializing in online investigation and advising clients on cyber piracy counter-measures. Tommaso also spoke as a speaker on cyber piracy trends. In 2015, Tommaso co-founded Legal Tech Forum, the first Italian conference on legal technology, where they served as the Event Manager and played a key role in organizing the event. Since 2020, they have been a Lecturer at Università degli Studi di Milano, teaching in the Advanced Program in Legal Technology and the Advanced Program in Cybercrime and Digital Investigation. Most recently, in 2021, Tommaso co-founded Legal Tech Italy.
Tommaso Grotto completed an Executive Program in Cyber Security Management (14th edition) at MIP Politecnico di Milano in 2019. In 2018, they also pursued an Executive Program in General Management (66th edition) at SDA Bocconi. Prior to these programs, Tommaso obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Informatics from Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, where they studied from 2008 to 2011.
