Giovan Soares

Giovan Soares has extensive work experience in various industries. Giovan started their career as an Industrial Intern at Usimega Usinagem Ltda in 2006. Giovan then worked as a Toolmaker Technician at Hidefran Ferramentaria from 2008 to 2009 and later at Grupo Tigre from 2009 to 2013. In 2014, Giovan joined Eurosonics Ltd as a Quality Engineer Analyst & ISO9001 Quality Auditor, where they implemented lean manufacturing tools and provided troubleshooting support for customers' quality issues. Since 2018, Giovan has been working at Koppers Inc. as an Industrial & Project Engineer, taking on roles such as project manager and lead commissioning engineer. Giovan has expertise in the wood treatment business and has been responsible for leading and coordinating equipment improvement projects to increase productivity. Giovan has also been involved in new vendors development and procurement.

Giovan Soares's education history includes four significant periods. From 2009 to 2010, they attended UniSociesc Centro Universitário and obtained a certificate in Mechanical Technician. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at UniSociesc Centro Universitário from 2011 to 2016. In 2017 to 2018, Giovan furthered their education by completing a postgraduate program in Management of Industrial Process at SENAI/SC - Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial. Finally, from 2022 to 2023, they attended FIA Business School, where they earned a postgraduate degree in Business Administration.
