Mark Laurent

Mark Laurent has a diverse range of work experience spanning over four decades. Mark is currently working as a Corporate Project Engineer at Koppers Inc. since July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Project Engineer at Innophos from April 2013 to July 2021. Before joining Innophos, Mark worked as a Startup Engineer at Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation from April 2011 to March 2013. From January 1998 to March 2011, they served as a Senior Project Engineer at Koppers Inc., where they successfully managed plant capital programs and recommended process and equipment improvements. Mark also acted as a Coke Plant Engineer at Koppers Inc. from July 1995 to January 1998, overseeing all engineering functions. Mark began their career as a Process Engineer at Koppers Inc. from January 1990 to June 1995. Prior to that, they worked as a Plant Engineer at POCO Graphite INC from May 1984 to January 1990. Mark also has experience as a Research Chemist at Texas Refinery Corporation from May 1983 to April 1984 and a Project Engineer in the Corporate Group at Fiber Industries Inc. from July 1981 to September 1982. Their earlier experience includes serving as a Plant Process Engineer at Kopper Company from June 1978 to July 1981.

Mark Laurent attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1973 to 1978. Mark pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering during their time there.
