Raphael Nascimento

Raphael Nascimento is an experienced forest engineer currently employed at Koppers Inc. since March 2022. Previously, Nascimento held the position of Magister Scientiae at Universidade Federal de Viçosa from March 2020 to June 2022, where research focused on validating non-destructive dielectric methods for determining moisture content in Eucalyptus sp. wood. This research contributed to the quality assessment of wood for charcoal and metallurgy sectors. Nascimento also worked as an auditor at Kuhlmann Tecnologia & Monitoramento Agrícola in 2018, conducting audits on soybean reception points in Rio Grande do Sul. Earlier experiences include internships at Universidade Federal de Viçosa, engaging in environmental education and research projects related to plant propagation. Raphael Nascimento holds a Master's degree in Forest Science and a Bachelor's degree in Forest Engineering, both from Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
