Robert Kmetz

Robert Kmetz has a strong background in security, safety, and compliance. Robert gained extensive experience in the US Navy, serving as a Navy Security Forces officer and an Anti-Terrorism, Force Protection, and Law Enforcement Training Officer for twenty years. After leaving the Navy, they worked as a DCJS Credentialed Private Investigator and later took on roles as Deputy Security Director at Naval Support Activity Mid South and Client Services Manager and Service Compliance Manager at Allied Universal. In 2022, they worked as an Independent Consultant before joining Expeditors as a District Security, Health, and Safety Manager. Robert'smost recent position is as an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator at Koppers Inc.

Robert Kmetz attended Excelsior University from 2010 to 2012, studying Business. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. In December 2010, they became a Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist and in January 2010, they received the Anti-Terrorism Specialist certification from the Anti-Terrorism Accreditation Board. Robert has also earned various certifications from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, including DCJS Private Security Services Handgun, DCJS Private Security Services Shotgun, DCJS Armed Security Officer, DCJS Private Investigator, and DCJS Unarmed Security Officer. More recently, in 2022, they obtained certifications in "Communicating with Empathy," "Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making," "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence," and "Project Management Foundations" from LinkedIn. In February 2022, they obtained the certification for "De-Escalating Conversations for Customer Service" from LinkedIn as well.
