Travis Smith

Travis Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Travis began their career at Union Pacific Railroad in 2006 as a Manager of Yard Operations, a role they held for six years until July 2012. In 2015, they joined Building Products & Concrete Supply LP as a Logistics Coordinator, where they worked for eight months until April 2016. In the same year, they transitioned to Shade Railroad Services Inc as a Superintendent, a position they currently hold. Also in 2016, Travis joined Koppers Inc as the Manager of Safety and Planning, and later became the Director of Safety and Planning, overseeing the safety plan and project planning for disposal of railroad materials. In December 2019, they took on the role of Manager of Operations at Koppers Inc.

Travis Smith attended Southwest Baptist University from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching.
