Tim Ysewyn

Tim Ysewyn has a diverse and extensive work experience. Tim is currently working as a Staff Engineer at KOR Financial since July 2022. Prior to this, they founded Road to Code in May 2022. From 2016, they have been a Core Team Member at NG-BE. Previously, they held various roles at VMware Tanzu between April 2020 and May 2022, including Sr. Solutions Architect and Member of Technical Staff. Before that, they served as a Solutions Architect at Pivotal Software, Inc. from June 2019 to March 2020. Tim also had a long tenure at Ordina Belgium, starting as a Principal Java Software Engineer in September 2011 and later assuming roles like Head of OSS and Competence Leader in API & Microservices and Microservices. In 2015, they were a Competence Leader in Internet of Things.

Tim Ysewyn received their Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science - Application Development from HOGENT, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Swift Method Practitioner from Swiftbird Training and Certification in January 2021, Emergency First Responder (Primary and Secondary Care, AED, CFC) Instructor from Emergency First Response in August 2017, MongoDB Certified Developer, Associate from MongoDB in December 2013, Rescue Diver from PADI in October 2013, and CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in July 2020.
