Yannick De Turck

Yannick De Turck has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at KOR Financial, where they are involved in developing a cloud-native global trade repository and regulatory reporting services platform. Prior to this, Yannick worked as an Independent Contractor, taking on various projects.

From 2014 to 2021, Yannick held multiple roles at Ordina Belgium. Initially, they served as a Practice Manager for the Young Professionals practice, focusing on the career development of consultants. Yannick also worked as a Principal Java Consultant, where their responsibilities included providing in-depth courses for experienced consultants and coaching junior profiles within the Java Unit. Additionally, Yannick served as the Competence Lead of the JVM Languages competence center, overseeing the core knowledge of Java developers and organizing training programs for fresh graduates and junior colleagues.

Before joining Ordina Belgium, Yannick worked as a Technical Lead/Trainer/Coach at Belfius, a Belgian financial institution. Yannick contributed to public funds management, retail banking, and insurance activities. Yannick also gained experience as a Technical Reviewer at Packt Publishing, where they contributed to the publication of books, ebooks, video tutorials, and articles for IT developers and administrators.

Earlier in their career, Yannick worked as a Medior Java Consultant at DKV Belgium and Cereus.be, focusing on designing and building business solutions using Oracle, Java, and Open Source technologies. Yannick also served as a Junior Java Consultant at AXI and CIRB, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of various IT solutions for public institutions.

Yannick's work experience also includes an internship as a System Engineer at Cegeka.

Yannick De Turck's education history includes studying at the TIAS School for Business and Society from 2019 to 2020, where they completed the Ordina Talent Accelerator Program in an unspecified field of study. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, Yannick attended the Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen, where they received a Professional Bachelor's degree in Information Management & Multimedia.
