Emmanuel Eguakhide

Emmanuel Eguakhide has a diverse background in product design and software development. Emmanuel currently holds the position of Senior Product Designer at Kora since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Access Bank Plc as a Senior Product Designer & Software Developer from November 2021 to April 2022.

Emmanuel also had a significant tenure at GTBank, where they held multiple roles. From January 2021 to February 2022, they served as a Senior Product Designer & Software Developer, leading the design team and overseeing interaction design. Emmanuel was involved in mobile and web application development using Agile Methodology: Scrum.

Before this, from January 2019 to January 2021, they worked as a User Experience (UI/UX) Designer at GTBank, focusing on designing user interfaces and improving the overall experience for various applications. Emmanuel conducted end user tests and prepared instructional videos. Emmanuel also participated in brainstorming and presentation sessions. In November to December 2018, they had a role as a GTBank Tech Trainee.

Emmanuel's work experience also includes a freelance role as a Product Designer from May 2017 to November 2018. Early in their career, they worked as a Computer Engineer at Lad Fluid Controls Services from June 2015 to December 2015.

Emmanuel Eguakhide holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Benin. Emmanuel obtained this degree, however, the specific start and end years are not provided. In addition to their university education, Emmanuel has pursued various additional certifications. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Design Thinking from IBM. In 2019 as well, they obtained a User Experience Certification from Udemy. In October 2019, they received a certification in Professional Conduct and Ethics from The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). In March 2020, Emmanuel completed a Flutter Bootcamp course from Udemy, and in April 2020, they obtained a certification in Learning REST APIs from LinkedIn. In February 2021, Emmanuel was awarded the Google Africa Developer Scholarship from Google Developers. Lastly, in June 2022, they completed the Microcopy & UX Writing: The Complete Course from Udemy.
