Procurement Lead at Körber Medipak Systems

Dr. Alexander Breitenbach has a diverse work experience in various roles related to procurement and engineering. Dr. Alexander started their career as a Research Engineer at Deutsches Herzzentrum München, where they worked on the development of artificial left ventricular assist and various blood pumps. In 2006, they joined Océ - A Canon Company as an Engineer R&D, responsible for the development of coated rollers used in electrophotographic printers. Dr. Alexander also served as a Procurement Account Manager, leading supplier selection and procurement activities. From 2015 to 2019, they held the position of Teamlead Supply Base Team Mechanic at the same company. Currently, they are working at Körber Pharma as a Procurement Lead, where they previously served as the Head of Procurement & Planning and Head of Procurement from 2019 to 2020 and 2021 onwards, respectively.

Dr. Alexander Breitenbach's education history begins in 1996 when they enrolled at the Technical University of Munich to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Alexander successfully completed their studies in 2002, obtaining a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Following their undergraduate studies, Dr. Breitenbach continued their education at the Technical University of Munich. From 2002 to 2007, they pursued a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, earning the title of Dr.-Ing.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Breitenbach has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2015, they received the "Auftraggeber Training - Kaizen & 6sigma" certification from UMS Consulting GmbH & Co. KG. Dr. Alexander further enhanced their skills and knowledge by obtaining the "Spider in the web" certification from Purspective in 2015.

Dr. Alexander Breitenbach continued to expand their expertise with additional certifications in subsequent years. In 2017, they completed the "Driving Business Change" certification program offered by Purspective, as well as the "Run Change" certification program offered by change factory gmbh.

Most recently, in 2020, Dr. Breitenbach obtained the Lean Six Sigma Silver Belt Certification from PEEC - Productivity Engineering Europe Corporation. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning and professional development in various areas related to their field.
