Jaime Scott has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 1990, they started working as a musician, playing the guitar for multiple bands and artists. Jaime had the opportunity to contribute to recordings, feature films, and television commercials as a session musician. In 1993, they founded and became the CEO of Need Mac Help, Inc., a computer consulting company that provided on-site services for home and small business clients in New York City and surrounding areas. The company expanded its services to medium and large businesses in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.
In 1995, Jaime joined Lagarto Productions as a music producer and audio engineer. Jaime worked and performed with international music ensemble John Lurie and the Lounge Lizards, managing studio recordings, film scores, live performances, and tours. In 1997, they became the studio manager of The Lodge, a renowned mastering facility in Manhattan, where they handled operations and played a crucial role in mastering albums for high-profile artists such as David Bowie, Foo Fighters, Sia, and Coldplay.
In 2004, Jaime co-founded Precise Leads, a lead-generation company focused on innovative technology and customer acquisition in the insurance sector. The company experienced steady growth, reaching $30 million in annual revenue with multiple office locations and 85 employees until Jaime's departure in 2017. In 2019, they became a partner at Lead Generation World. Finally, in 2019, Jaime co-founded KORD, a subscription-based music streaming service that allows users to explore the building blocks of songs by removing or isolating instruments.
Jaime Scott earned a Bachelor's degree in Music from SUNY New Paltz, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Music Technology at New York University from 1993 to 1996.
