Peter Chapman

Peter Chapman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity, information governance, and forensic technology. Currently serving as a Partner at KordaMentha since January 2023 and as an Advisory Board Member for Information Governance ANZ since February 2018, Peter leverages expertise gained from previous roles at KPMG Australia as Director from June 2019 to December 2022, and at Ferrier Hodgson as Director from 2010 to June 2019, where management of forensic technology teams was a key focus. Academic contributions as a Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney from 2009 to June 2019 include research and teaching in IT governance and project management. Peter holds a Ph.D. in IT Governance and Accounting Information Systems and possesses an MBA in Accounting Information Systems, alongside a scientific background in Computer Science. Early career experience includes serving as a Senior Constable with the NSW Police Force from 1995 to 2002.
