Ömür Menteş

Ömür Menteş started his professional career as an R&D engineer at Mercedes-Benz Turkey in 1997, and later joined BekSa as a Product Sales Engineer, Product Sales Executive, Steel Cord Production Chief, and Steel Cord Production Chief in the fields of Wire Products and Steel Cord between 1998-2008. He worked as Çelik Kord Marketing and Sales Manager. He coordinated SA15+ activities on behalf of Beksa as the Leader of the Process Management Committee. He participated in the INSEAD-Sabancı University "Leadership and Values ​​Based Management" programs. Ömür joined Bekaert Sangay in 2008, following the position of System Development Manager, and served as Global Account Manager and International Customers North Asia Sales Director, respectively. In addition to his position as South East Asia Regional Marketing and Sales Director, which he started in Bekaert Singapore in 2012, he has continued as Sumitomo and Yokohama Global Account Manager since 2015. In 2018-2019, he provided consultancy services in the field of sales performance management, recruitment and evaluation in Singapore. He joined Kordsa in June 2019 and continued his duty as Sales Group Manager, Asia Pacific. As of April 1, 2022, he was appointed as “Assistant General Manager, Asia Pacific”.
