Chris Lingwood

Chris Lingwood has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Chris is currently working as a DevOps Lead at Kore Labs Ltd since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Director at DOWN TO EARTH CRAFT GALLERY LIMITED, where they acquired and modernized a retail business, transformed business practices to digital-first, and developed an e-commerce site.

From 2017 to 2021, Chris worked at Lancaster University in multiple roles. As a DevOps Engineer, they drove the adoption of new techniques and technologies, managed and developed services for a large user base, and improved server and service observability. Chris also worked as a Virtual Infrastructure Consultant, designing and administering the virtual infrastructure for the Engineering Department.

Before joining Lancaster University, Chris worked as a Lecturer from 2013 to 2016 and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 2009 to 2013, also at Lancaster University.

Chris Lingwood completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Computational Physics from Lancaster University, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the same institution, from 2005 to 2010.
