Janis Gu

Janis Gu currently serves as a Project Coordinator at the Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, focusing on research, outreach, and community engagement to provide culturally competent services to the Korean and AAPI community. As a nursing student at Lehman College, Janis has completed clinical rotations at various healthcare institutions, including James J. Peters VA Medical Center and BronxCare Health System, fulfilling requirements in Medical Surgical II and pediatrics, respectively. Prior nursing experiences include roles at Montefiore Health System and North Central Bronx Hospital, where Janis gained hands-on skills in patient care and clinical procedures. Janis holds a degree in Marketing Management from Baruch College and is pursuing a nursing degree at Lehman College.
