Anna Li

CEO & Founder at Korion Health

Anna Li is the Founder and CEO of Korion Health, a company established to improve access to heart health monitoring through a home-based tool for recording heart sounds. Currently a third-year MD/PhD student in the joint program between the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, Anna Li is focusing on Computational Biology with research aimed at developing engineered bacteriophages to combat antibiotic-resistant infections in cystic fibrosis. Previously, Anna Li gained valuable experience as a research assistant at the University of Washington's Singh lab and as a research technician at the UNC-CH Cystic Fibrosis Center, where significant contributions were made towards understanding lung stem cells and their clinical applications. Additionally, leadership roles included serving as President of Duke University's CF4CF and the American Society for Microbiology, promoting cystic fibrosis awareness and scientific excellence, respectively. Anna Li holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Duke University.
