Bernice Addom Ph.D.

Bernice Addom PhD, MPH, FWACN, FFGCNM, STTI has extensive experience in nursing and midwifery, currently serving as Nurse-Midwife in Administration and Deputy Chief Midwifery Officer at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital since June 2002. Bernice has held multiple roles, including Principal Nursing Officer and Senior Nursing Officer within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, where leadership and supervision of nursing staff were key responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health from the University of Ghana, a Master of Public Health, and several certificates in clinical research and health management from esteemed institutions. Bernice is a fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Nurses and Midwives, specializing in Maternal and Child Health Nursing.
