Sebastian Thalheim is an experienced innovation and process manager with a focus on technical leadership and business development in the marketplace sector. Currently, he works as a Senior Innovation and Process Manager at KoRo in Berlin, where he leads projects centered around process improvements and strategic development. Previously, he served as Technical Lead, overseeing the development and optimization of marketplace solutions.
Sebastian holds a Master of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Freiburg, where he graduated with a 1.8 GPA. During his master's thesis at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, he developed a thin-film micro-photoreactor for the photocatalytic conversion of CO2 into methane, aiming at solar fuel production. This project combined his project management skills with hands-on research in photocatalysis.
He also gained international experience during a voluntary social year with the NGO AGERTO in Togo. There, he took on significant responsibilities, organized a successful fundraising campaign, and developed digital tools including a new website and a detailed city map.
