Omair Ghori

Omair Ghori currently serves as Lead Scientist at Korro AI, a position held since July 2018, after previously working as a Senior Data Scientist. Prior to this role, Omair was involved with Bosch from December 2014 to June 2018 as a PhD Candidate in collaboration with Universität Heidelberg's Computer Vision Group, focusing on computer vision and deep learning technologies for advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving. A master's student's earlier experience at Bosch included a project on video-based ambient smoke detection, complemented by an internship at Bosch in 2013. Additionally, Omair held the position of Assistant Manager at AkzoNobel from July 2010 to July 2012. Education includes a current PhD in Computer Vision and Machine Learning at Heidelberg University, a Master's Degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, and a Bachelor's of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
