Finn Kirkland has worked in a variety of roles in the sales and language training industries. In 2021, they are the Regional Sales Manager at Kortext. From 2014 to 2021, they were the Commercial Director and Business Development Manager at Firsty Group, where they were responsible for liaising with publishers on direct to consumer (d2c) eBook fulfilment, eCommerce websites, and digital content delivery. From 2004 to 2014, they were the Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager for Scandinavia and the Baltic States, and Scandinavian Sales Representative at Macmillan Education. From 2002 to 2001, they were a Freelance ELT Consultant and English Language Trainer for Spanish Professionals. Finally, from 2001 to 2002, they were an English Language Trainer for Swedish Professionals at Sprak och Interkultur.

Finn Kirkland attended The University of Edinburgh from 1996 to 2000, where they earned an MA Hons in Scandinavian Studies.
