Matty Sowinski

Matty Sowinski has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Matty was the Operations Manager for MERLIN'S CATERING LIMITED from 2008 to 2013, and then worked as an Expedition Leader and Charity Project Manager for Quest Overseas from 2013 to 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Environmental Interpreter, Translator and Guide for Páramo Trek, and from 2019 to 2021 they were the Assistant Lodge Manager Kachi Lodge for Amazing Escapes Luxury Camp Experiences. Currently, they are the Internal Sales and Account Manager for Kortext.

Matty Sowinski attended Poole grammar school from 2003 to 2010 and obtained A levels. Matty then attended UCL from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History. Matty also has two certifications: a Wilderness Advanced First Aid Certificate (WAFA) obtained from Centro de Entrenamiento en Medicina de Montaña y Áreas Agrestes (CEMMAA) in June 2019, and a edX Verified Certificate for Human Rights: The Right to Freedom of Expression from edX.
