Chris Zetter

Chris Zetter has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Chris is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Koru Kids since November 2021. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, they worked at Farewill, first as an Engineering Manager and later as a Senior Platform Engineer, where they provided support to engineers and contributed to solving cross-product team problems.

Before Farewill, Chris worked at FutureLearn from 2013 to 2018, where they served as a Technical Lead, leading a team responsible for delivering government-funded public education projects. Chris also worked as a Developer during their tenure at FutureLearn and contributed to crucial projects such as platform scaling and payment integration.

In 2012, Chris joined Rentify as a Developer & Interim CTO, taking over a minimum viable product and transforming it into a featured property advertisement & management tool. Chris also undertook CTO-type responsibilities and successfully built an engineering team.

Chris began their career in 2009 at Reevoo as a Developer, where they were part of the small technology team. Chris'stasks included migrating infrastructure to Amazon Web Services.

Chris Zetter completed their education at Imperial College London, where they pursued a MEng degree in Computing from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed a course titled "Introduction to GDPR: General Data Protection Regulation" from University College London through FutureLearn. Similarly, they completed a course called "Logical and Critical Thinking" from The University of Auckland through FutureLearn in 2015. Also in 2015, they obtained a certification in "Introduction to Cyber Security" from The Open University through FutureLearn.
