Sivanandan Ramiah

Sivanandan Ramiah has been in the engineering field since 2008. Sivanandan began their career as a Marine Engineer (Cadetship) at AET Shipmanagement in 2008, and then moved to AUTOMATION & CONTROL SYSTEMS SDN BHD in 2011, where they worked as a Field Service Engineer responsible for troubleshooting and commissioning of diesel/gas engine control systems, steam/gas turbine control systems & power management control systems. In 2017, they joined Leaptron Engineering Pte Ltd as an Application Engineer, responsible for designing, developing and commissioning software components of KUKA industrial robots, as well as performing field service duties and providing detailed CAD and CAM simulations and analysis for novel robotic applications. In 2018, they took on the role of Research Assistant at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). Sivanandan then returned to Leaptron Engineering Pte Ltd in 2019, where they worked as a Senior Application Engineer and Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Control Engineer II at Korvis, LLC.

Sivanandan Ramiah studied at the Malaysian Maritime Academy from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Diploma in Marine Engineering. Sivanandan then attended the University of Liverpool from 2013 to 2016, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechatronics and Robotic Systems.
