Christina Yorke

Christina Yorke has a diverse work experience spanning different positions and companies. Christina started their career as a Financial Accountant at Goldfields Ghana Limited, Damang Mine Site, Ghana from 1997 to 2004. Christina then joined Newmont Mining Corporation as a Senior Accountant Exploration from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they became the Accounts Manager at Kosmos Energy Ghana HC until 2013. From 2014 to 2017, they held the position of Manager, General Accounting & Reporting at Kosmos Energy Ghana HC. After that, they became the Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting at Kosmos Energy Ghana HC from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they serve as the Director, Finance & Accounting at Kosmos Energy Ghana HC, a position they have held since January 2022. Additionally, Christina Yorke has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Jobex Company Limited from April 2009 to November 2010.

Christina Yorke completed their MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained an ICA (Ghana) degree in Accounting from the Institute of Professional Studies in Legon-Accra between 1987 and 1989. Christina also received a GCE Advanced Level degree from Nsein Senior High School in Axim, Western Region, specializing in Accounting, Economics, CRS, and General Paper from 1982 to 1984. Christina'seducation started with a GCE Ordinary Level degree from Tarkwa Secondary School in Tarkwa, Western Region, where they studied Business, including Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Typewriting, Food & Nutrition, English, Maths, and General Science, from 1977 to 1982.
