Christopher Taunton

Christopher Taunton is an experienced engineer and consultant with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at Cardno PPI as an Engineer/Consultant since February 2011, Christopher also serves as an Inventory Specialist at Kosmos Energy since May 2018, where responsibilities include tracking equipment and logistics, managing QA/QC processes, and supporting joint venture audits. Previous roles include Day Drilling Consultant at WildHorse Resource Development, Operations Consultant at INPEX, and Drilling Engineer at INPEX Corporation. Christopher has also served as a Drilling Supervisor for WildHorse Resources Management Company, LLC, and held the position of Operations Engineer at Transocean. Christopher began a career in the industry as a Service Hand at Baker Hughes and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Technology from Texas A&M University, earned in 2006.
