Rachel Hubbard

Rachel Hubbard currently serves as Executive Director of KOSU Public Radio, a position held since February 2020, after previously working as Associate Director/General Manager from February 2006 to March 2022. In this role, Rachel established partnerships to enhance KOSU's audience diversity and promote independent music. Earlier experience includes serving as News Director, where Rachel set local news policies and developed media partnerships, and working as a General Assignment Reporter at the State Capitol, producing numerous feature stories and coordinating weather coverage. As Communications Coordinator for the 2003 Star Schools project, Rachel managed marketing efforts aimed at training middle school science teachers. Rachel began a broadcasting career at Fuchs Radio, where live segments and remote broadcasts were produced. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business - Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications, both from Oklahoma State University.
