Eshwar Karra

Eshwar Karra is a seasoned financial executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Kotak Strategic Situations Fund at Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited since April 2023. Prior to this role, Eshwar held the position of CEO at Kotak Special Situations Fund within KOTAK INVESTMENT ADVISORS LIMITED since January 2019 and served as CEO at Phoenix ARC Private Limited from February 2014 to December 2018. Eshwar's career began at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where a tenure as Executive Vice President spanned from November 2000 to March 2014. Earlier experience includes the role of Regional Manager at Ceat Financial Services Ltd from July 1995 to October 2000. Eshwar holds an MBA from the Institute of Management Development and Research, Pune, and a B.Com. in Business Administration and Management from Deccan Education Society’s Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, Pune.
