Felix Macharia

Felix Macharia has worked in the tech industry since 2016. In 2016, they co-founded First Nexus Company, a tech company built around fourth industrial revolution technologies. In 2017, they became an Affiliate Scholar at the Institute for Blockchain Studies and Chief Operations Officer at EOS Nairobi. In 2018, they took on the role of Community and Strategy at the Africa Digital Asset Foundation (ADAF), an open-source protocol for transnational standards for digital assets and distributed ledger technologies. In 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Kotani Pay.

Felix Macharia attended the University of Nairobi from 2013 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChb) degree. From 2013 to 2016, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Physiology (Honours).
