Peter Moyer

Peter Moyer has over 20 years of work experience in various technical and management roles. Peter is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Kount, an Equifax Company. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineering Manager at IXL Learning.

From 2019 to 2021, Peter worked at Juniper Networks as a Sr Manager Test Engineering. In this role, they led test engineering for software services, implemented automation initiatives, and updated the infrastructure.

Before Juniper Networks, Peter worked as a Devops Manager at TiVo from 2016 to 2019. Peter led the Engineering DevOps team and improved deployment processes through automation.

From 2015 to 2016, Peter served as a Sr. Devops Manager at Support.com. Peter collaborated on the automation of product rollouts, oversaw datacenter build-outs, and modernized scripts for faster server deployment.

Between 2011 and 2015, Peter was the Manager of Cloud Services Engineering at BroadSoft. During their tenure, they built and mentored support and performance teams, as well as hired a dedicated QA team for web-based portals testing.

From 2008 to 2011, Peter worked as the Director of Customer Support at Neohapsis, now part of Cisco. Peter played a key role in turning around problem customers, created a team for sustaining and technical documentation, and presented trending improvement charts to the Board.

Peter gained experience as the Director of SQA, Support, and Tech. Publications at Compassoft from 2007 to 2008. Peter directed support, SQA, and technical writing teams while utilizing Agile methodologies.

At Siemens, Peter held multiple roles from 2001 to 2007, including Software Engineering Manager, Manager of Support and Technical Publications, and Manager of Software Quality Assurance. Peter was responsible for embedded coding, managing multilingual technical teams, and streamlining test cycles through automation.

Peter started their career as a Senior SW Engineer at Harmonic Inc. in 2000, where they focused on video streams coding and lab infrastructure development.

Peter Moyer attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1985 to 1987. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
