Karthik Venkataraman

Karthik Venkataraman has a strong background in technology and engineering with experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2003, they worked for GE Plastics as an Advanced Technology Engineer and Six Sigma Black Belt. In 2010, they joined QD Vision Inc as an Advanced Process and Product Development Manager, eventually progressing to become a Program Manager. During their time there, Karthik played a key role in program management and product development, successfully launching a new display technology. In 2016, they pursued independent work as a Data Science Consultant, honing their skills in data science and machine learning. Karthik also completed the Data Science Immersive certificate program at General Assembly, gaining practical experience through real-world projects. Most recently, Karthik has taken on the role of Technology Director at Koura Global, where they are responsible for driving technological advancements.

Karthik Venkataraman holds a B.Tech (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, which they completed from 1995 to 1999. Karthik later pursued a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota, from 1999 to 2003. In 2016 to 2017, Karthik obtained a Certificate in Data Science Immersive from General Assembly. Karthik also possesses additional certifications, including Data Analysis and Computing for Data Analysis from Coursera (year unspecified), as well as a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (obtained in 2005).
