Miki Oljaca

Miki Oljaca has extensive work experience in various leadership roles related to growth and technology. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Growth and Technology at Orbia since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Board Observer at Ascend Elements starting in January 2022.

Before these recent roles, Miki had a long tenure at Koura Global, where they held positions such as Senior Director of Growth and Technology and Director of Growth and Technology. In these roles, Miki oversaw growth and technical activities, executed growth agendas, built new businesses, and managed the technical organization to ensure successful outcomes.

Earlier in their career, Miki worked at Cabot Corporation, where they served as a Technology Director, Director of R&D, Global Segment Manager for Energy Materials, R&D Manager, Business Manager, and Technology Manager. During this time, they were responsible for various technology and business development activities related to battery and energy materials, as well as managing global business and technology operations in the energy storage segment.

Prior to joining Cabot Corporation, Miki was the Director of Nanotechnology at nGimat (MicroCoating Technologies) from 1998 to 2004.

Miki Oljaca obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine, where they studied from 1991 to 1993.
