Joydeep Datta, CSM®, Product Automation and DevOps

Joydeep Datta has over 20 years of work experience in the software industry. Joydeep started their career as a Software Development Engineer at NIIT Limited in 2000. Joydeep then moved on to Array Solutions, where they worked as a Software Engineer for two years.

In 2002, Joydeep joined Soffront Software Inc. as a Project Leader. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating work towards the development of the next major release of Trackweb. Their responsibilities included development, review, and module functionalities.

In 2006, Joydeep joined Kovair Software as a Senior Project Leader. Joydeep later became a Senior Project Leader - Engineering and then an Engineering Project Manager. In their current role as the Director of Product Engineering and Product Owner, Joydeep provides vision and leadership for designing and developing software integration solutions.

At Kovair Software, Joydeep is also actively involved in setting goals for the team, hiring engineers, and prioritizing products. Joydeep also provides technical and design mentorship to a team of software engineers.

Joydeep Datta, CSM®, has a diverse educational background that spans multiple fields and levels of study. Joydeep began their education in 1981 at St. Vincents High & Technical School in Asansol, where they completed their Class 10 education under the ICSE Board. Joydeep then pursued a West Bengal Council Of Higher Secondary degree in Pure Science at Bidhan Chandra Institution in Durgapur from 1992 to 1994.

In 1994, Joydeep enrolled in Triveni Devi Bhalotia College - Burdwan University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, completing their studies in 1996. Following this, they attended NIIT from 1996 to 1999, where they studied Computer Software Engineering and earned the title of System Engineer.

In addition to their formal education, Joydeep has also obtained certifications in the field of technology. In 2018, they completed the Master Jenkins CI for DevOps certification program offered by Udemy. Most recently, in October 2021, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance.
