João André

João André is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in membrane technology and process engineering. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Kovalus Separation Solutions since February 2020, João André focuses on new business initiatives for ion-exchange and the integration of membrane technology across Europe and Africa. Prior positions include Global Membrane Technology Manager at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where João André oversaw all membrane technology activities, and Scientist/Project Leader at Evonik Technology & Infrastructure GmbH, leading bioprocess technology projects and contributing to award-winning innovations. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente, with a concentration on membrane technology and biotechnology, and an M.Sc. from the Universidade de Coimbra.
