Steve Putzel

Steve Putzel is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity research and client portfolio management. From September 1995 to June 2008, Steve served as Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Research Sales at Bear Stearns & Co., where management of a team of 20 resulted in being ranked #1 equity research salesperson for a decade. Following this tenure, Steve held the role of Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase from June 2008 to May 2022, developing key relationships with high-level executives and overseeing equity product distribution across the Midwest. Currently, since May 2022, Steve works as a Client Portfolio Manager at Kovitz, focusing on integrating alternative investment offerings for clients nationwide. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington, completed in 1991.
