Y C. has been in the finance industry for over a decade. Starting in 2008, Y C. worked as a Financial Analyst for Santander. In 2012, Y C. moved to State Street as a Senior AIS Financial Reporting Specialist. In 2015, Y C. took a role as a Senior Fund Accountant at Ipes. In 2016, Y C. became the Finance Manager at ESF Capital. In 2017, Y C. was hired as the Group Financial Controller at Blue Motor Finance Ltd. Currently, Y C. is the Financial Controller at Koyo.

Y C. attended BPP from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Fully Qualified ACCA Member degree in ACCA. In 2017, they attended BPP again and obtained a degree in Chartered Tax Adviser. They also obtained a Chartered Tax Adviser certification from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) in February 2017, and an ACCA certification from ACCA.
