P.eng Wei Wu

Wei Wu, P.Eng, currently serves as a Substation Engineer at KPC Power Electrical Ltd. since March 2023. Prior to this role, Wei Wu worked at Trench Group from January 2007 to October 2022 as a Test Lab Supervisor, where responsibilities included organizing tests in various laboratories and functioning as a Design Engineer focused on designing CCVTs and Line Tuners across multiple standards and voltage levels. Wei Wu began the career at Shanxi Electric Power Corp. from July 1990 to July 2000 as an Electrical Engineer, with expertise in adjusting, testing, and commissioning protection and control systems for generators, as well as conducting HV tests on key electrical components in power plants. Wei Wu holds a Bachelor's degree in Power System and its Automation from North China Electric Power University and a Certificate in AutoCad and Power System from Centennial College.
