John Miller

John joined KPFF in 2002 as a founder of the St. Louis office and has led the office’s growth from a staff of four to 30. With more than 35 years of experience in the structural engineering consulting industry serving architects, developers, and contractors, he has been responsible for the design of hundreds of buildings of all types across the country, many of which required sophisticated structural engineering analysis and design. His broad practical experience encompasses all facets of the structural design of a wide variety of building types utilizing different structural systems. John’s passion for and commitment to engineering excellence is exemplified by his creative, cost-effective design solutions.

John has authored more than a dozen articles for trade and specialty journals, and is frequently provides expert opinions for news stories. His collaborative approach to design is evident in every project he leads, resulting in successfully delivering projects that meet his clients’ budget, schedule, and design expectations.
