Shayla Franks has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of analytical chemistry and sales. Shayla began their career as an Analytical Chemist at RI Analytical, where they analyzed water and soil samples and managed laboratory supplies. Shayla then worked as a Metals Analyst at New England Testing Laboratory, focusing on analyzing metals.

Franks then joined Hanna Instruments, where they held multiple roles over the course of several years. Shayla started as a Technical Sales Consultant, interacting with customers and providing sales support. Shayla then progressed to become a National Food Account Manager, achieving remarkable growth in the food industry. Shayla acted as an industry resource, coordinated internal resources to exceed customer expectations, created relevant content, and provided application support. Franks also continuously expanded their knowledge in food safety and quality.

Franks further advanced in their career at Hanna Instruments as an Applications Engineer II and a Regional Applications Engineer-Midwest. In these roles, they provided technical expertise and support to customers in the Midwest region.

Most recently, Franks worked at KPM Analytics as a Field Service Engineer, where they utilize their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to provide field service support.

In July 2021, they obtained a certification in Implementing SQF Systems from the SQF Institute.
