Guilherme Martins

Guilherme Martins currently serves as a Manager in R&D Tax Incentive Services at KPMG Canada since April 2024, following a career as an R&D technical consultant and junior consultant at Leyton from September 2021 to March 2024. Guilherme's proficiency includes identifying R&D activities for US companies to maximize IRS tax incentives, evaluating project risks, and managing strategic sales campaigns across various industries. A Ph.D. graduate in Plant Molecular Biology and Virology from Université de Sherbrooke, Guilherme has extensive research experience in plant biotechnology, having managed scientific projects and contributed to academic programs. Previous roles include teaching assistant, committee member, and leadership positions in ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and event administration related to food security and scientific collaborations.
