Mohamed Kortas

Mohamed Kortas, CFA FRM, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Executive Director at KPMG Canada since June 2017, focusing on investment risk management for public pension funds. In addition, Mohamed is the President of Kortas Consulting Services, offering portfolio research and quantitative analysis. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) from April 2002 to November 2016, where responsibilities included Director of Portfolio Research and Senior Advisor roles, emphasizing strategic asset allocation and quantitative modeling for private equity and infrastructure.
