Rebecca Burrows

Rebecca Burrows is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Partner at KPMG Canada since June 2016. Rebecca leads a high-performing team providing legal support across various issues, including litigation, contracting, regulatory compliance, and governance. Previously, Rebecca held multiple roles at KPMG LLP, focusing on litigation and legal risk management on a national level. Prior to joining KPMG, Rebecca practiced corporate and commercial litigation at Goodmans LLP, where responsibilities included managing significant breach of contract claims and shareholder disputes. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School, an ICD Rotman Directors Education Program certification from the Rotman School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science/English from Wilfrid Laurier University.
