Anders Bäckström

Anders Bäckström currently serves as the Head of Quality, Risk Management, Ethics & Independence, and Regulatory at KPMG Sweden Group, where they also chair the Nordic Risk Council and are a member of the Risk Management Steering Group for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. With 35 years at KPMG, Anders has held multiple leadership roles, including Head of Audit and Head of Financial Services, and has contributed to various boards, including those of FAR and the Swedish Audit Academy. Anders began their career at KPMG as an audit assistant and has since become an Authorized Public Accountant, earning a Licentiate of Economics degree during their professional journey.
