Katya Georgieva

Katya Georgieva currently serves as an Assistant Manager in Digital Compliance at KPMG IT Service OOD since August 2023, following a role as Senior Associate in the same field. Responsibilities include SOC1/2 compliance, IDW PS 850 adherence, General IT Controls, data migration audit engagements, and consultancy involving ServiceNow and ServiceDesk+. Prior to KPMG, Katya was Global Quality and Compliance Manager at HP from September 2011 to August 2023, overseeing compliance assessments and quality assurance for GxP compliant accounts across over 100 countries. Additional roles at HP included Deal Assurance Consultant focusing on risk management for high-value tenders and Global Change Manager for end-to-end change management of a large device fleet. Katya's earlier experience includes serving as Corporate Sales Manager and Contract Administrator at Raiffeisen Leasing Bulgaria, managing numerous leasing contracts and transactions. Katya holds a Master's degree in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy.
