Bert Koelewijn

Bert Koelewijn is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Partner and Director at KPMG Nederland since October 2015, where Bert leads the Cyber Strategy and Risk team, focusing on enhancing organizational resilience against cyber threats and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to this role, Bert held various positions, including Head of Information Security & Risk Management ICT at a.s.r. from November 2009 to September 2015, and served as the founder and local chapter leader of OWASP Foundation in the Netherlands from November 2005 to September 2010. Bert's early career includes roles as an Information Security Consultant at Information Risk Control irC2 B.V. and as a Technical Project Lead at Brouwer & Van Veen B.V. Bert holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology and completed VWO at Farel College.
