Onur Karakus

Onur Karakus is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cyber strategy and risk management. Currently serving as a Manager in Cyber Strategy & Risk at KPMG Nederland since August 2021, Onur has evolved through various roles in the cybersecurity field, including positions at Marsh as a Cyber Risk Services Manager, and at MAY Siber Teknoloji and Lostar Bilgi Güvenliği as a Senior Consultant. Prior to specializing in cybersecurity, Onur held roles in business development and sales at Covidien and Radikal Medya, and began a career in information technology support at Teknosa. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Systems & Informatics from Boğaziçi University, an MBA from Yeditepe University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Yeditepe University.
