Stephan Idema

Stephan Idema serves as the Director of Privacy & TechLaw at KPMG Nederland, where responsibilities include leading the Data Privacy team within KPMG Cyber & Data Privacy. With a progressive career at KPMG since January 2012, Stephan has held various roles including Senior Manager of Data Privacy & Contract Compliance and Manager in Risk Consulting, focusing on GDPR, privacy, software licensing, and data analytics. Prior to KPMG, experiences include a position as a University Law Library attendant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and contract administration at Gemeente Zijpe. Stephan holds an Executive Master of IT-Audit from the University of Amsterdam and a Master of Law in Law & ICT from the University of Groningen, complemented by degrees in Business Information Systems and Information Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
